Born in Texas, Vickie Funston was profoundly influenced by her Aunt Minnie and Grandpa Broxson who shared their beliefs about Jesus and read to her from well-worn Bibles. When she was nine, the family moved to Seattle where Vickie met two missionaries who led her to a saving faith in Christ. She and her husband, Daryl, have three grown children who know and love the Lord as well.
Vickie wrote “I’ll See You in Heaven” from the perspective of a loved one who has passed. Her heart and vision for this book is that it will bring comfort and hope to readers amidst grief, and ultimately give glory to God.
Jaime Broxson is my neice and co-author of I'll See You in Heaven. Her amazing passion and abilities to write collaborated with the vision that God gave me for this book to create a wonderful tool to help people, and give glory to God.
I received your book today and spent a little time looking at it. I work with grief support groups and also families going through loss so I am sure I will have opportunity to share it. It is very well done.
